Where has the time gone?

I sometimes wonder if there's not a little gremlin out there stealing away time. Can it be that Christmas is gone, we've flown through Spring and now Summer is almost over too??? What happened?

I guess time flies when you are having fun... but the real world (aka work) comes back next week. Kids will be back in school, house is being worked on, and we are starting to potty train. A crazy life!

It seems each year gets crazier and crazier. And now with an active 2-year-old as well as a house under construction (and 2 dogs in agility and a cat that wants to be petted)... you can see our lives are crazy.

Today Lucas got a letter from Santa in the mail... and will go see Santa at the mall tomorrow evening. He definitely loves the presents part. He was able to open one Christmas present already (from Great-Aunt Marlene and Great-Uncle Larry) and was loving tearing the paper - and playing with his new toy (a ride on Caterpillar Dump Truck - with blocks)!

He's been a good boy this year so hopefully Santa leaves a bag filled with great things when he arrives this Thursday. And since we're sharing a tree with grandma and grandpa, hopefully, Santa will even stop on both sides of the tree this year.
